London to Islip and Oxford

Featuring towns, villages and places of local interest including:



The Lord Mayors Banqueting House,  the road to Hampstead and Marybone,  Tiburn,  Hide Park,  road to Padington, Cambden House,  the road to Hammersmith,  East Acton,  Acton,  the road to Harrow and Little Eling (Ealing),  Hawes Church,  Helingdon Heath,  Uxbridge,  road to Burnam,  Beconsfield,  High Wycombe,  Stoaken Church,  Tetsworth,  Water Stoke,  a branch in the road taking you to Oxford,  the main road continues through Stanton St. John to Islip and much more.

Islip, Cherwell Flu (river),  Kirtlington Church,  the road to Woodstock, the road to Oxford,  Wolton Church,  Glimpton,  Piddington,  Chipping Norton,  a house called Chapple on ye Heath,  Long Compton,  Little Compton,  Wheelbarrow Castle,  Morton in Marsh,  Burtons Ash,  the road to Stow,  a hand for direction to Winchcomb,  Broadway,  Childs Wickham,  Pershaw,  Stouton,  the road to Upton upon Severn,  Worcester,  Earls Court,  Cotheridge, the road to Tewkesbury,  Bramyard.

It measures overall 300 x 240 mm (12 x 9.5 inches) approx. It is in good condition with a little fading around the edges.You must excuse some of the spelling as parts are written in old English. This map would look wonderful mounted (matted) and framed. ( 1 ).
