A colourful and very attractive vintage advert in the form of a pictorial map an unknown artist's work (possibly Norman Wilson). It includes descriptive vignettes describing historical landmarks, events and architectural features of places of interest along the way.

There is a little paragraph of description mentioning The epic invention of John Boyd Dunlop, has brought these lovely, remote places within the reach of all.

CONDITION/DIMENSIONS: It is on the inside front cover from the Illustrated London New with other advertising on the reverse. The page measures overall 320x215mm (12.5x8.5ins) overall and is suitable for framing. There is some age yellowing and marks consistent with the age. It is printed on both sides plus dated, month and year. It will be packaged in a board-backed envelope and sent Royal Mail Large Letter. Postage packing fees etc are charged at cost.
