The Illustrated Times was a magazine founded as a competitor to the Illustrated London News , but never really gained as much popularity, and are consequently quite rare.
The four digit number in brackets in title is for my ref only. It measures 365 x 260 mm (14.25 x 10.25 inches). The spine is loose with binding witness marks where once bound, some pages are loose. The engravings vary in size. Please email for more information if required, size of articles and number of words etc., size of images. The spine and pages are loose. There is some yellowing to the pages with the bottom corner affected by damp (a nibbled effect) not affecting the articles or engravings. Some pages may have minor cuts tears and blemishes due to their great age. The engravings vary in size. There are no outer advertising pages/cover unless otherwise stated.
Quotation or speech marks in the text signifies the content in my words and not necessarily what is written on the original page. PLEASE NOTE: I cannot guarantee that the issue is complete 'as published' - but what I have described above IS present. As far as I can tell there are two pages missing so if you are looking for something in particular in these pages PLEASE ASK. The process of the page numbering in The Illustrated London News issues are applied in a yearly sequence and therefore do not start at number 1. This item will be packaged in a tube unless otherwise requested. "Info." in the description is my research, although relevant to the accompanying image or article, is not necessarily in the text.
