On one side is a full page colour advert of the Vanden Plas Princess car in a very striking yellow with black top. With price. Although the date is not at the top of the page, it is 1956, as referred to in the description of the car. This would look wonderful framed.
On the other side of the page is another advert showing a painting by J. B. Van Loo (1684-1745) entitled Madame Favart from the Collections of Madame de Vallombreuse and Reginald Vaile. The advert is for Thomas Agnew and Sons of 43 Old Bond ST, and 3 Albemarle St London WI - Tel. Hyde Park 9188 and 9189 - Telegrams: Resemble, London. This is also suitable for framing.
Provenance: From a supplement of The Illustrated London News; Published London. 1956. A newspaper founded by Herbert Ingram, with the first edition appearing on 14 May 1842.
It measures overall 360 x 260 mm (14 x 10.25 ") approx. It is printed on both sides. There is very little age yellowing; please check the picture(s) for condition. This item will be packaged in a tube.
