O'Lara's Alarming Dream
A full page vintage advertisement by Arthur Guinness, Son and Co. showing a crowd of people gathered on an Irish beach near Dublin; a wonderful colour drawing by "Charlton". The story is an excerpt from a book written by Lord Dunsany entitled "My Ireland".
Info. Lord Dunsany, Edward John Moreton Drax Plunkett, 1878 - 1957 was an Irish writer and dramatist. He was active in the Irish Literary Revival aka The Irish Literary Renaissance (nicknamed the Celtic Twilight ).
The page measures overall, approximately 370 x 255mm (14.25 x 10.25 inches ). It is suitable for framing and would make an unusual and interesting talking point. This is a page from a publication and so has text on the reverse; in this case it is on the inside front cover of a publication. There is a little age yellowing - please check the larger picture for condition. Due to the size this item will be packaged in a tube.
