This listing is for a circa 1950-1960 illustration of a School Badge. These illustrations are undated, but seem to have been printed on paper older than the image would suggest. The grain of the pictures suggest they were originally on a type of sugar paper which I have used to help me date these as having come from a schoolboy's or schoolgirl's annual in the 1950's. The photo/scan has a watermark, the originals will not show this watermark It is entitled simply:
AVENUE ROAD SCHOOL (NORWICH)

Provenance: Unknown. The print measures 255 x 180 mm (10 x 7" ) approximately ( they vary slightly in size). It is blank on the reverse, and is suitable for framing. There is a little age yellowing - please check the larger picture for condition. This item will be shipped flat in a board backed envelope, and protected inside that envelope by a plastic sleeve. Our use of the term "an original print" is a pictorial image made in a manner which allows it to be multiplied, and originating from the date stated and not the original artwork.
