A near full page with sub titles and shows: Austria Now a Land (State) Of The German Reich The Ancient Country Which Has Lost Its' Independence - Seen From The South West; Showing How The invasion Was Made; and Herr Hitler's Route To Vienna. All the majors towns/cities are listed, from Mittenwald, Kufstein, Berchtesgaden, Freilassing and Braunau on the German Border, to Salzburg, to Linz and on to Vienna. There are a couple of paragraphs of descriptive text beneath the map
On the reverse is a photo of the late Makereti Papakura, Chieftainess of the Arawa Tribe of the Maori - Feather Cloaks that belonged to her - Makereti's house Tuhoromatakaka -the article is an appreciation of Makereti's Book 'The Old Time Maori' by Sir John Squire.
Provenance: From the Illustrated London News, a newspaper founded by Herbert Ingram, with the first edition appearing on 14 May 1842.

The full page measures overall 360 x 255 mm (14 x 9.75 ") approx. It is printed on both sides. There is a little age yellowing; please check the picture(s) for condition. This item will be packaged in a tube. Sent RM Small Parcels.
