The full page is titled:

Date Published: c1918.

Full page; the picture shows the first Division of American Destroyers to arrive in European waters, at Queenstown Ireland. To the right of the convoy shows fishermen in their fishing boat waving to the convoy as it passes by.Sleekburnc.

On the reverse are two images in a sepia tint style ( photogravure/rotogravure type) entitled American sailors swarming to the fighting top and bringing anti aircraft gun into action.

Interesting and informative images etc from the WW1 period.

 

Provenance: The Great War - Amalgamated Press. c1918. The Great War series was published between 1914 and c1919.

A full page print from a publication, as the date and provenance states, and not a modern reproduction. Page measures approx overall 315 x 225 mm (12.25 x 8.75 inches). It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope.
