On one side are two images from drawings:
French children cheering a regiment of United States troops marching through a village en-route to the front. The sketch is initialed JFC.
American troops, with French tanks, leaving their trenches to attack Cantigny.
On the reverse is a photographic image showing the American Expeditionary Force titled American Troops Moving up to Take Their Place in the Firing Line with a French cyclist as a guide
Provenance: The Great War - Amalgamated Press. c1918. The Great War series was published between 1914 and c1919. Sleekburnc.
A full page print from a publication, as the date and provenance states, and not a modern reproduction. Page measures approx. overall 315 x 225 mm (12.25 x 8.75 inches). It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope. "Info.” in the description is my research, although relevant to the accompanying image or article, is not necessarily in the text. Reference resource historical research material WW1.
