On the reverse is a photographic image titled For The Memory of Those Who Had Fallen showing a British soldier carpenter shaping simple wooden crosses to mark resting places of soldiers fallen in France.  

There is incomplete text to both sides of the page; although interesting it does not necessarily relate to the images. It relates to the numbers of casualties for that time etc. Some of the names/events mentioned in the text include: Destruction of HMS Vanguard with numbers of killed, missing, drowned, injured etc. - Army losses (numbers) etc.

There is incomplete text to both sides of the page. A full page from a publication, as the date and provenance states, and not a modern reproduction. The page measures approx. overall 315 x 225 mm (12.25 x 8.75 inches). It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges.
