MAP Hants Territorial Battalion SENTRY THAMES EMBANKMENT
On the reverse are two photographic images:
Dirty Weather in the Great City - shows a guard on the Thames Embankment wearing oilskins and a sou'wester.
Taking No Chances of Surprise - soldiers belonging to a Hants Territorial Battalion on shore duty looking through a telescope.
There is also text on the page; although interesting it does not necessarily relate to the images. Some of the text relates to the increased air raids over Kent and Essex of German Gotha aircraft, with a small piece by Colonel Repington (approx 120 words).

A full page print from a publication, as the date and provenance states, and not a modern reproduction. Page measures approx overall 315 x 225 mm (12.25 x 8.75 inches). It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope. "Info.” in the description is my research, although relevant to the accompanying image or article, is not necessarily in the text. Reference resource historical research material WW1.
