On one side is a full page photographic image of a British Official Photograph titled The Deliverers of Jerusalem: Sir Edmund Allenby's Historic Entry into the Holy City. It shows Allenby entering the city through the Jaffa Gate on foot. Narrow margins to right side of border.


On the reverse are two images from drawings on a page titled Last milestone on the new Crusaders glorious march to the delivery of Jerusalem:

Captured Turkish Train at the Beersheba Gaza Junction of the Damascus Jerusalem Railway: British Soldiers Marching Along Waving at the Driver of the Train - the drawing is initialed JFC.

Town Hall of Jaffa: Saluting the Union Jack on the occasion of the formal occupation of the town; On the morning of Nov 17th 1917, Australian and New Zealand Troops - the drawing is initialed JFC.


Provenance: The Great War - Amalgamated Press. c1918. The Great War series was published between 1914 and c1919. Sleekburnc.

A full page print from a publication, as the date and provenance states, and not a modern reproduction. The page measures approx. 315 x 225 mm (12.25 x 8.75 inches). It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope.
