On one side is a half page map with descriptive caption titled Map Showing the Communications Between America and Europe detailing the principal steamer routes and distances from Europe to the United States and South American ports; also the transatlantic cable lines.There is text beneath the map although not really related to the map; it is nontheless interesting.

A full page print from a publication, as the date states and not a modern reproduction. It measures 310 x 230 mm (12 x 9 inches) approx. It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges small crease to top corner border. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope. "Info.” in the description is my research, although relevant to the accompanying image or article, is not necessarily in the text.
