A full page photographic print entitled Italian Mine Layer Sowing a Mine Field in Southern European Waters. It shows the Itlaian sailors on the deck of the ship preparing the mines to be dropped into the sea.

On the reverse is a small map within text entitled The Kaiser Wilhelm (Kiel) Canal .


Provenance: The Great War - Amalgamated Press. Published circa 1916 - 17.


The page measures 310 x 225 mm (12.25 x 8.75 inches) approx. There are images on both sides. There is a little age yellowing with handling marks to the edges.
