A sepia print from a publication, from the dated stated and not a later reproduction. Painted for The War Illustrated by Stanley L. Wood. It shows a soldier sharing his Christmas rations with his horse. It is blank on the reverse.

Provenance: Specially produced for The War Illustrated - Amalgamated Press. Farringdon St. London etc.

A full page sepia style print from a WW1 publication. It measures 275 x 195 mm (10.75 x 7.5 inches) approx. It is blank on the reverse. There is a some age yellowing/toning, with handling marks to the edges. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope.
