A full page print from a painting by Montague Dawson. There is a caption title beneath the print: Under the White Ensign: Battleships racing past the Rock of Gibraltar on waters dancing under a spanking breeze. Info.Montague Dawson RMSA, FRSA (1890–1973) renowned British maritime painter.

On the reverse is another full page print from a drawing by G. H. Davies with a caption title: Wind-jammers coming up Channel on a flowing sea and before a fast following wind. It shows various sailing ships. Info. George Horace Davis (1881-1963)

The page measures 310 x 225 mm (12.25 x 8.75 inches) approx. There are images on both sides. There is a little age yellowing with handling marks to the edges.
