Info. David Wilson (b. Minterburn, Co. Tyrone, Ireland 1873 - d. London 1935) was a political cartoonist, caricaturist, illustrator and painter.
One the reverse is a page with an article titled Bat, Ball and Bullet. It shows two photographs within the text: Lord Hawke, President of the MCC aka Martin Bladen Hawke - and the other is of Major H.H. Ranjitsinhji, Jamsaheb of Nawanagar . The article is complete and is by E. H. D. Sewell with the subject being Cricket and the war
This print is from an original newspaper from the date stated; not a scan and not a later re-print. A publication similar to The Illustrated London News, The Graphic was a weekly illustrated newspaper published by H. R. Baines and Company Ltd of Tallis House, Whitefriars, City of London.
The page measures overall 390 x 270 mm (15.25 x 10.75inches ) approx. It is printed on both sides. There is a little age yellowing. This item will be packaged in a tube.
