The first side is titled Scenes from The First Naval Battle off Heligoland drawn from a sketch by a British Officer in the action and represents the hottest sage in the conflict when big guns were firing at the German fleets.

The second side with two half page prints from sketches by special war artist F. L. Blanchard:

The top one is titled The First Light Cruiser Squadron Sighting the Enemy. The caption mentions: Commodore W. R. Goodenough - The HMS Arethusa.

The bottom image is titled In Port After The First Naval Battle: A Scene off Harwich.

CONDITION/DIMENSIONS

It measures overall 310 x 215 mm (12 x8.5 inches) approx. It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope.
