There is a caption article below the print which mentions the famous University Library being destroyed. From a drawing by Edoardo or Eduardo Matania (1847 – 1929)

On the reverse is a smaller photographic image within text entitled War Worn Belgians Rest in the Shade of a Calvary .Shows Belgian men with horses resting against railings outside a church at Ziel near Ghent

A full page print from a publication, as the date states and not a modern reproduction. It measures 310 x 230 mm (12 x 9 inches) approx. It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope.
