A full page showing a British hydroplane flying over the Naval Fleet; HMS Iron Duke the super Dreadnought being the flagship leading the "Armada", with sister ship The Marlborough and others forming a procession behind. There is a caption beneath the image describing the scene.

On the reverse there is a small photograph entitled British First Battle Cruiser Squadron Putting to Sea Led by HMS Lion. There is incomplete text beneath.

Provenance: The Great War - Amalgamated Press. c1914.The Great War series was published between 1914 and c1919. 

A full page print from a publication, as the date states and not a modern reproduction. It measures 310 x 230 mm (12 x 9 inches) approx. It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges. There is a crease to the corner. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope.
