A full page with incomplete text to the side of the drawing.It shows a busy street scene with the crowds looking up at the air balloon. Drawn by an eye witness.

There are two photographic images on the reverse titled In a Strange Land, But Certainly not Downhearted. They show soldiers arriving in France; and the other soldiers resting at a station or depot.Sleekburnc.

Provenance: The Great War - Amalgamated Press. c1914. The Great War series was published between 1914 and c1919.


A full page from a publication, as the date states and not a modern reproduction.The print is within incomplete text. It measures 310 x 230 mm (12 x 9 inches) approx. It is printed on both sides. There is a some age yellowing with handling marks to the edges. This item will be packaged in a board backed envelope.
