With an Inset of Calcutta, and Rangoon and Environs.


A very detailed circa 1907 map showing areas including Southern Tibet - Himalaya Mountains - Nepal - Bhutan - Bengal and Assam - Orissa - Chhatisgarh - Chittagong Hill Tracts - Manipur - South Han States - Rawadi - Burma - etc. There is an inset of the city of Calcutta, and a smaller inset of Rangoon environs.

It shows the principal through routes by land and sea, including Railways, Canals, Steamship Routes, etc. With distances to and from various ports in nautical miles. Plus hill tribes which are coloured yellow etc.

It has an original as published fold to the centre. It has a blank reverse (blank apart from titles and a key map). It measures overall 510 x 390 mm ( 20 x 15.25 inches ) approximately, and is ideal for mounting and framing. It originally would have been in an atlas, edge mounted and not stapled. This map will be sent rolled in a protective postal tube.
