It also shows the official names of Railway Stations which are "engraved in special character". It shows railway routes for Bedford and Hitchen Railway - Great Northern Railway - L&NWR - Midland - etc.

It measures overall 515x345mm (20.25x13.5inches) approx; printed area 450 x 300mm (18 x 12.00") approx. It has an as published fold to the centre. It originally would have been in an atlas, edge mounted so as to avoid damage to the map, and not stapled. It is suitable for framing. There is a little age yellowing. There is a small tear repaired on the reverse, only affecting the border, and a small repairable split to the fold, again only affecting the border This item will be packaged in a tube and sent Royal Mail Small Parcels.
