A list of images i.e. prints from engravings, sketches, drawings etc (these sometimes have descriptive articles but not always). They include:

Preparations in St Pauls Cathedral for the Thanksgiving service - full front page. It shows many workers, carpenters etc. building scaffold etc; hundreds of chairs piled up and two men overseeing the work .

Preparations at Farringdon Street for The Queens Thanksgiving - It shows many workers, carpenters etc. building wood scaffold or frames using block and tackle; also an obelisk can be seen which is contained by railings.

Bothered by J W Bottomley in the Dudley Gallery Exhibition - circular engraving of an old bulldog being teased by a tiresome spaniel puppy.

This is an original but USED newspaper, not a scan and not a later re-print. Thirteen pages (26 sides). It measures 365 x 260 mm (14.25 x 10.25 "). The spine is loose with binding witness marks where once bound, some pages are loose. There is a little age yellowing with some spotting. Some pages may have minor cuts tears and blemishes due to their great age. The engravings vary in size. There are no outer advertising pages/cover unless otherwise stated. The images are in black and white unless otherwise stated. 

The above list details the content in my words and not necessarily what is written on the original page. "Info.” in the description is my research, although relevant to the accompanying image or article, is not necessarily in the text.

PLEASE NOTE: I cannot guarantee that the issue is complete 'as published' - but what I have described above IS present. As far as I can tell there are no pages missing but if you are looking for something in particular in these pages PLEASE ASK. If you require information on size of articles (i.e. number of words), sizes of images, please ask before bidding or buying. The process of the page numbering in The Illustrated London News would carry on from the previous issue therefore did not start at number 1. This item will be packaged in a tube.
