Norfolk Island, The New home of the Pitcairn Islanders - with an article of approximately 600 words, mentioning Brierly, Keppel, Captain Cook, Norfolk and Phillip, Nepean and Bird Islands, Captain King, Captain Turton, Some of the Botany of the Island, and one convict who swam to the rescue of Commodore Keppel and proved to be a man transported for robbery whilst in the service of Keppel's father.There is a small tear to one border.

The second engraving is a map of the Free and Slave states of America - There is also an article describing this map of about 350 words, entitled 'The Battlefield of Freedom in America. This latter article begins above the map and is completed on the reverse. There is also other unrelated text on this reverse.

The page measures overall approximately 400 x 275 mm (16 x 10.75 ") and is printed on both sides. There is some age yellowing possibly with some spotting - please check the larger picture for condition. There is a small tear to the border edge.This item will be packaged in a tube unless otherwise requested.
